Just wondering, why do we censor regular ass words, and names now?
certain sites reduce your ability to be seen in the algorithm if you swear and/or use âforbiddenâ words â twitter does this [started doing this? it feels like a musk change, ironically] where if thereâs a curse word, itâs automatically hidden under the âshow more repliesâ button and usually gets less engagement. itâs really sick and weird and puritanical.
oddly, saying hitler doesnât mean i support hitler.
So I step out of the timeline for just one afternoon in order to see the Nicolas Cage as Superman movie from Timeline 23133-BD
And I find that we are having to repeat the transgender rights movement of the 40s, because apparently someone change the timeline so now the German sex researched Institute was burned down by fascists, preventing that from ever happening.
Iâd go back and fix your mistake, but now I canât get more plutonium for my Tucker (which is now a thing called a Delorean for some reason) it used to be available in every corner drugstore. But thanks to the meddling you did to get out of art class, apparently America dropped something called the atomic bomb on some Island near Asia⌠Now everyone thinks radiation is scaryâŚ
On that note, what the hell is anime and why does everyone keep talking about it?
Imagine âcensoringâ Hitlerâs name. Thatâs some tiktok-ass shit
No Hitler doesnât necessarily mean the Nazis donât rise to power or even prevent the Holocaust. While he is and was obviously central to everything about the Nazi Germany that came to exist, he wasnât a singularity, Julius Streicher could probably have slid into Hitlerâs role pretty easily had a few cards fallen differently.
Edit: and just to be clear Iâm still fine with going back and killing Hitler, we just might have to make more than one trip if we want to fully prevent the crimes of the Nazis
Me reading Hitlerâs Wikipedia page after going back in time to kill Karl Liebknecht and prevent WW2
