Knit with TruBoo so light and airy for summer. (Bamboo is squirrelly and the ends are not as neatly woven in as when they started)

*edit to fix words… stupid autocorrect and swipe to text ganging up on me

Lovely work! I know “beach” is just the title and not the actually legally mandated purpose but I have to say these colours are just yelling “beach day!” at me 😆

It looks amazing! The colours, the size, the lace - everything!

What is particular about weaving in bamboo ends? (I’m new to projects big enough to have ends to weave in, so always appreciative of the experience of other knitters)

Thank you!

The bamboo yarn is so slick that the ends work their way free. I wove all the ends in and snipped them close to the work like I do for everything else (when I actually do 🫠). Most ends are sticking out by about half an inch after a few weeks of wear.

Ah OK, I understand now. Thank you for explaining :)

I’m guessing it’s just because bamboo is kinda slippery so they can work their way back out over time. I had that issue with some mercerised cotton once.

Gorgeous, and I love the colours. I know what you mean about weaving in bamboo, annoying.
