I think we should organize further protest against the recent changes to Reddit. The CEO has been pressuring the community and its mods. The CEO is also threatening to replace mods if they don’t re-open the sub-reddits.
Reddit was built by the community and its mods not its CEO!

Spread the news about about the Fediverse as an alternative if Reddit does not revert its changes .

Make sure to contact the mods on all the popular sub-reddits about the protest and why you dislike how Reddit is treating its community and mods

Make sure to call out reddit on other social media sites this way other users and social media sites take note

Remember to keep up the pressure, as soon as the reddits board members hear about how this is a sticking issue for the community they will have to revert the changes and apologies to the community and its mods.
Remember my redditors do not let up on the pressure if we cave in this makes us look weak! We made the community not them !!

Rather than place all your energy into Reddit, a place that is slowly going down the toilet. Why not put your energy into making this place better? That’s using your energy more efficiently. Make this place better, and people will move from Reddit.
Also, it seems a little rude, and awkward to use Kbin for nothing more than a place to organize protests to keep Reddit alive.
Best game plan is to just not care about Reddit. It won’t die today or this year, but if the alternatives gets good enough we have a fighting chance long term. Just talking about Reddit isn’t going to get us there though!
I think if the community stays strong and voices our opinion on the recent changes we will be able to make a difference.
Just remember that if the board sees this as a real issue they will have to compromise or totally revert the changes.
I don’t think we have to protest that long if everybody is really load about the issues
Don’t forget to backup your content from reddit, delete it on reddit, and repost it on the fediverse! The high quality content (provided for free) is what made reddit so valuable, so if we take that way, it eventually will hit reddit’s bottom line.
