But seriously, what is back pay ? I have no clue
It’s not shown in the comic, but Konsi puts that pay into a charity fund in the temple that funds a soup kitchen in the Field Ward.
“Back pay” is when an organization you work for realizes they should have been paying you more than they have been, and returns that lost pay to you.
I can’t tell if you’re being serious but back pay is when you get a promotion or something like that and it applies retroactively to hours you have already worked. So you get backpay for all those hours. Sometimes it can be a few years with so you get like 5000 hours of an extra 1 dollar pay or whatever
I always love it when religious characters put the social good above their own personal power. It makes me feel hopeful.
Konsi is my favorite part of being federated
Her instance in particular, Hexbear, was initially defederated from everyone (that is, disconnected from the wider Lemmy/fediverse network), but recently decided to change their policy and federated (or, joined the network), hence her calling out “being federated” like this
Konsi brings me so much joy. I want to play a table with her.

I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end, but right now, bad things have happened in our campaign. I wouldn’t end Konsi comics on a sad note though.
