It looks like more than two. Not a subject matter expert, but Crime Stoppers appears to be a loose association of non-profits that run tip lines.

According to the Wikipedia article, it got it’s start in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1976, and spread from there.

In Canada the national Crime Stoppers website is Crimestoppers.org, but I quickly found ones for Calgary, Edmonton, plus various others.

Per Grimpen, Crime Stopper’s is heavily local for the most part. If you search “your local area” + “crime stoppers”, then you can probably find one for your area.

If you are old enough, you may also remember “Block Parent”, which was a similar thing and sometimes you still see old signs around for it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_Parent_Program

yes, I’m old enough to remember the block parent signs. pretty sure my parents had one of those signs when we were growing up? could be mis-remembering (is that even a word?) though!
