I just found this sub and it’s really cool, I was thinking of making something similar but kinda forgot. Thanks for making the community!

I’m a native English speaker, know a bit of Spanish, and am studying Mandarin Chinese

Hello…
Originally english, moja żona mówi po polsku, mes enfants apprends le français à l’école, en een beetje nederlands. 我学到的最有趣的语言是中文 . я выучил много песен на русском языке, pero para cantar la lengua más alegre es el espanõl, е o mais divertido de se ouvir é o português. Anyway music 🎶 is a universal language, το ίδιο και τα μαθηματικά. But I spent too many years juggling java, until most recently learning scala. Now a citizen of nowhere, wondering what’s next? I’d like to discuss future world pathways with people in Africa, or maybe India.

English is my first language and I am fluent in Vietnamese (I am vietnamese/canadian).

I am hoping to pick up Japanese and Korean next.

Native English here. Have some passing familiarity with Spanish from back in school. With a recent dive into ancient cultures and mythologies, now I’m beginning to learn Old English so I can one day hopefully read and understand Beowulf in the way in which it was originally written. I’d also like to learn Old Norse for a similar reason and dive through the eddas and sagas. Hebrew, Greek, and Latin are all on my target list, too.
