In a response to Spez threatening to put reopening subreddits to a poll, /r/pics has gotten ahead of the game and voted to reopen, but only allow “Images of John Oliver looking sexy”.
This is legitimately brilliant, because this is the kind of thing that would potentially get John Oliver to mention this on air, and you know whose side he would take in the matter.
Unfortunately he hasn’t had new content in a while because of the writer’s strike. He absolutely would have a killer piece of he wasn’t paused in solidarity of the writers right now.
Apple should re-open, but only allow discussion of the fruit.
/r/selfawarewolves is currently holding a poll as to whether the sub should switch to pictures of literal wolves instead of the boring political wolves that had been the mainstay previously.
Thanks for the heads up! I voted on the r/pics one, so I’m off to vote on the r/selfawarewolves one. Unfortunately, it looks like the wolf pics option is losing. :(
Or only debates on how likely John Oliver would fuck specific Apple products.
This is the only argument I have ever heard that would persuade me to go back to reddit.com
