Not gaming headphones, but Sennheiser 598s. I’ve had mine for 6 years now and they are still in great shape.

Steelseries Arctis 7’s were probably the best I’ve ever owned. Good sound quality and those things lasted me around 4 years. Switched to the 9’s and they’re decent but missing something.

My Arctis 9’s broke on me after a year and half of nearly babying them. Like, the plastic near the left earcup cracked and now I occasionally have sound in one ear. So disappointed.

Phillips SHP9500 with a V-Moda Boom Mic. I have a big head and broke so many “Gaming Headsets” but have had the Phillips for 7 years years now and still going strong with great sound and mic quality.

I got some wireless Logitech headphones for about $80. They won’t be breaking any records, but they’re durable, sound good, decent mic, and comfy. I brought these babies on DEPLOYMENT and they held up. Just a little USB dongle to connect.

They’re called Logitech G533, they’re selling for like $55 right now. Again, nothing amazing, but certainly do the job.

I broke 6 or 7 pairs of headphones in the last 10 years or so. All of them where over ear headphones, 1 creative hyperx (cable); 2 creative omega wireless (hing both times); 2 Shure srh440 (hinge and headband)… At the moment I’m rocking KZ ZSN pro for 3 years and damn they’re still working. What I want to say, don’t look for “gaming” headphone… You will throw away your money even the good old indestructible ones, have newer, way cheaper revisions of them.

IEMs are good for gaming. I personally have some moondrop arias but turns out I don’t really like sticking things in my ears. I use an AKG K371 with a type c to 3.5 mm jack adapter. It’s a little bassy but compared to all the normie headphones on the market, it’s not even as close to that bassy.

Edit: OP, try posting this to https://lemmy.film/c/headphones
