Hey, I am a little bit annoyed by moving stuff around on between different characters. The easy solution is to put stuff in shared inventory slots. The big question is: How many should you get?

Currently I have four slots filled with three infinte salvage kits and a lounge pass. I can think of other items like the Birthday Cake, Position Rewinder or the White Mantle Portal Device.

I am curious what you keep in your shared slots.

Full Set (28)

This will look terrible witch the 29th slot from purchasing SotO … haha.

Also, I’m a big fan of account-wide QoL improvements and willing to pay money for them, hence I have the full set of the shared slots, unlimit gathering tools, Copper-Fed Salavage Kit (the silver-fed isn’t worth it, use a mystic kit instead), Lounge Pass(es), Material Storage Expansion up to 1K, etc.

Of course the value of account-wide upgrades increases with the number of characters you (actively) play on your account. To me the Shared Slots are a very high priority and I’d buy them before any cosmetic items or BL keys or equipment/build templates from the gem store.

Mine is similar to yours, all teleport tomes, PoF permanent pass, all salvage kits (copperfed, runecrafter, mystic, black lion), tp to friend, position rewinder, waystations, a set of unbound tools, home instance teleporter, birthday cake and a tier 10 jade core (I equip t1 on chars and switch to 10 when playing them).

I would recommend replacing the Silver-Fed with Mystic Salvage Kits if you have stones to spare. It’s less gold per salvage :)

I have a lot of stones to spare, but it’s pretty convenient to have an infinite salvage kit.

I make a mystic salvage kit any time that mystic forge is the daily.

This gives me enough of them to throw 2 or 3 on every character I have (~20) with spares in the bank, using them for anything rare or exotic (unless I want the upgrade, which requires a BL kit).

Recyclers, TP to friend, and unbreakable gathering tools to share between alts

I have seen gathering tools being mentioned often, but I would probably forget to put them into the slot anyway.

For the tps I am quite lucky, I have about 350 of them from the years of playing.

It’s a good idea to have a set of normal (orichalcum) gathering tools on your characters by default so that you just need to double-click on the shared slots to swap the unlimit tools in and out. And you are not “naked” (in front of a orichalcum node) in case you forgot to swap back the unlimit tools on another character.

Infinite salvage kits, black lion salvage kit, the position rewinder and a lounge pass. Also all the various tomes with teleport scrolls. Still got a lv80 boost stuck in one slot as well.

What are you using the black lion kit for? I have like 100 charges of them rotting in my bank.

Teleport tomes are a great addition to my list, thanks! I always just pushed a class I didn’t have already to max level with the boost. The most valuable thing for me are the shared slots anyway. I collected so many straight to lvl X scrolls and xp tomes, that I don’t really need the boost.

What are you using the black lion kit for?

Not the one you’re asking but I use it to salvage exotics if they contain valuable upgrades and getting rare mats in the process.

I usually have the kit in the bank and use it when I find exotics, but I am either doing something wrong or that is not very often the case.
