Is there an official way to request a feature? All I can find is places to submit bug reports.

It would be nice, on mobile, if the map would rotate when the phone is upside down (charging port on top). In rental cars, this is how I’ll put my phone in, so I can plug it in and don’t run out of battery while driving.
