I’m late, but happy birthday! Finally made that donation that I said I would. I love this place.

Way to go, turning a legitimate question with legitimate answers into an opportunity to insult an unrelated group of people 👍🏽

You’d be surprised how little money it takes to influence a US politician

UGH thank you! And also thank you!

I don’t know how I missed that chapter. It’s so freaking important. But then again I checked it out from the library and, being 48 hours long with a 14 day pending period, I’ve fallen asleep listening a few times. It’s hard fighting time against these massive novels.

I’m really loving this series. I read the Mistborn trilogy when those were first released and never thought to follow Sanderson further

Is Sharon Apple somehow involved? Can we get a list of virtual idols with suspicious behavior?

To be honest I have no idea. I saw the Plugins option but no explanation as to what it’s for

TrackerControl will let you block ads system wide. It’s kinda touchy and takes some finagling, though.

What sort of finagling are we talking? Also, I’ve been using AdAway for the past few weeks with mixed results. Could these tools be used in tandem or is that just silly?

I’m a big fan of Kvaesitso. It does nearly everything I’d like it to do. Quick question though. I never figured out what plugins I can use or where to look. Any pointers?

The purpose of these corporate white papers is to inform (impress) potential customers of actual issues. It demonstrates knowledge and implies that the company has the ability to leverage their product or service to meet whatever the challenge is.

I wouldn’t say boulder-sized because the meat of the article is true, but yes a bit of skepticism is always useful.
