No joke, I walked into vw dealership couple years ago to test drive the ID.3, nearly ready to buy it by end of 2021 (replace my eGolf).
The interior controls and their ergonomics were shockingly bad. Unlit touch strips for volume and temp, touch buttons on steering wheel, mirror adjust switch that freely rotate so you don’t know which mirror is adjusting, only two power window switch to control four windows on driver door, gear shift that’s totally hidden by steering wheel…
Just awful.
Because a train isn’t going to drive me from home to anywhere that’s not a train station.
Wait… Honda? Do they even have an EV?
A coin cannot cause this much damage to a microwave in 1 minute.
By that logic, Russia could launch it’s nukes on Poland, gift them mid flight to Poland and then ask why is the country bombing itself?
It’s a good thing global defense strategies aren’t made by 10 year olds.
A more ergonomic design that reduces strain on your wrist when aiming inside your mouth.
Looks like the TCAS system has been doing a fine job, which it was designed to do.
For those who don’t know, there is a system onboard every modern airliner that has one job: detect planes at (roughly) same altitude, heading towards each other. It then very clearly tells one plane to pull up while telling the other to dive.
Pilots are instructed to follow TCAS above anything else they might hear from controller or captain.
TCAS is why we have nearly no mid air collisions, especially considering the amount of planes sharing the same crowded space near airports.
