I guarantee in 4 years Trump will try to name a successor instead of holding an election.

No. He will not name a successor, he will remain president. Either he will eliminate elections or he will do like his idol, Putin. Arrest and murder anyone who dares oppose him.

He is an extreme narcissist and egotist. Like extreme extreme. He cannot see a future where he’s not on the throne.

He won the popular vote, but that’s the majority of voters, not the majority of people, right?

Right, the rest are just so lazy and consumed by apathy that they could not be bothered to vote when THESE were the stakes. I think we can confidently rule them out for any advocacy for our freedom.

He doesn’t have to. He can issue an executive order and within hours, a military regimen takes their data center.

Seriously! I just dont understand how so many people can just overlook this. Honestly they have openly approved it all. They never again have a right to expect justice for themselves, because they approved rampant criminal behavior in about the most formal way.

This is truly sickening. Clearly he can get away with anything just as he has always known. I just cannot figure it out. How can people do this? It truly makes me sure our species stands no chance.

Actually some people were trying to help me with a problem on a Linux system. It’s weird but makes sense that most of these fringe tech platforms are used by people using Linux to talk about Linux.

It’s like ham radios… lots of folks talking about their ham radios. And their plans for their ham radios. And asking about ham radios.

Wow. That sucks. Why would an advertising company buy them, though? Seems odd.

Well yes, for someone with OCD there are a plethora of behaviors that aren’t the same for them as for ordinary people. I think that would go without saying.

I mean… steampunk pretends to emulate modern tech all with steam power. Not only is it so absurd that it’s funny and enjoyable, but aesthetically when bathed in art deco, it’s positively gorgeous.

But in terms of story…. Shrug, there are probably tons of sci-fi writers that have touched this kind of storytelling. I think Alan Dean Foster maybe had something like this, and/or Piers Anthony, maybe a few others I read many years ago. No recollection as to what actual books, sorry.
