TypeScript won’t save you from JavaScript
Yet I hated working with Javascript. Everything always felt like a mess ready to break at any moment.
On the other hand I love Javascript. It definitely fix the bad part of JS while keeping the good
Then collegues says: “Oh there’s a windows update!” and try to do it too but can’t find it.

@fastfinge From what I see it’s only the firewall and mercurejs which have to-do section. Not really obscure parts
If you already have previous knowledge of hosting anything serious publicly, it’s not a problem.
But it’s part of my “less mature” in my top level comment

Ernest, the kbin developper is great, humble, reactive and I have big hope for him.
On the other hand kbin seems a little less mature at development level, but it has all the time to catch up

It was quite a smart choice.
But another way to do things could also be to disallow users to upvote their own content. Either by disabling the button, or just silently ignoring it.
One is probably more to avoid user to complain they can’t do it. The other more logical at a dry level
