in reality the majority of Americans agree on a shockingly high number of issues.
And it’s exactly why I say this every single day in some comment or another: I FUCKING HATE PROPAGANDISTS!!!
What you said is absolutely true and without the likes of Fucker Carlson, Sean Hamface, and Laura Inbread, we’d actually have some fucking semblance of unity and solidarity… But no, we get divide and conquer… Hate hate hate hate. Fox primetime is literally the “two minutes hate” from 1984 with an ever changing Goldstein.
I think there’s that and there’s also the growing cancel culture of the right. They’re boycotting anything and everything that even smells of equity/diversity. Repugnicans have proved that they can affect businesses and will do so with their army of right wing media viewers so it makes sense that corporations would cater to them.
The left has their grassroots movements, but there is no major media outlet that convinces others to join in on the boycotts. They might report it’s happening, but they don’t go all Sean Hannity with some version of “they’re taking your job prospects and giving it to some undeserving lazy _____ person because they’re the real racists and they hate you!”
I think at this point it’s because the DNC is going to shove him down our throats anyway with their expedited digital vote next Friday so instead of causing even more disruption by throwing a wrench into that at the absolute last minute which will cause bad optics for Democrats, they’re just resigned to losing entirely.
“Funny” thing is people keep saying “the rich are safe so they don’t care if we lose to a fascist.” and they couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t for one second think Trump isn’t going after the DNC as well as the party itself.
That’s not what they mean, they already are separated they just act like they’re news and have the little “opinion” thing on the bottom of the screen for legal purposes.
What CNN seems to be saying is they want more opinion shows than actual news. When your show is classified as opinion you can lie as much as you want as long as it’s not slandering a corporation that will sue you (dominion and fox)
“we’d rather definitely lose the election than maybe lose in court.”
I mean wtf happens if there are court cases? Do they just get to decide that there is no opponent to trump and he just wins by default?
