Two of them did have a considerable following and political support. Fortunately, those are the two quotes that are made up.

The first quote is real, but out of context. It is from a book by a young Jewish author reacting to antisemitic racial theory with… Jewish supremacist racial theory. It straddles the line between satire and seriousness; it’s intentionally provocative.

The second is certainly not real. It’s wildly out of character for Menachem Bagin, no attribution for it exists, it isn’t mentioned in any reporting of any event he appeared at or in any biography of him… it’s straightforwardly made up to suit an antisemitic fantasy.

The third quote is also fake; it was made up in the early 2000s, about a decade after the rabbi in question (who was very prominent to hasidic Jews) died. It doesn’t make any sense in the context of Jewish theology or this particular rabbi’s teachings, but it does sound something an antisemitic conspiracy theorist would imagine a Jewish rabbi saying.

Here’s the thing: I’m sure there are plenty of very real quotes by Jews saying awful stuff about non Jews – at the same time, whenever an Irish person says something idiotic, you don’t expect every other Irish person to have to prove to you they don’t share that opinion; that kind of behavior is basically the definition of bigotry.

The idea that jews think of ourselves as a superior race (and are plotting to destroy all the gentiles while we are at it) is the antisemitic messaging.

Earlier in my career I probably would have. These days I’m an executive… I have a lot more of a choice about where I work, and a big part of my job is representing the corporation and motivating a lot of folks to work hard together to get its mission accomplished.

I don’t think I could do that for a company that I thought was harmful or immoral, and I know I wouldn’t want to.

That’s the point of a union – people in skilled and sophisticated work can benefit from it too, but the folks whose jobs are extremely demanding but basically fungible really need a union.

I don’t really think so, it’s a magazine geared toward management employees writing to suit its audience

I’m a tech executive… good for UPS workers. That’s what unions are for, to balance out investors’ demands and get people paid fairly.

I always thought the same thing! I only found this out relatively recently, and I thought it was pretty cool

It’s funny, Jews are white right up until the racists need to figure out who is behind the decline in white share of the population, then it turns out we’re shady minority puppet masters

Yeah I’m not a vegetarian, but if lab grown meat were widely available at a reasonable price I’d think a little poorly of people that went out of their way to eat the remains of a sentient being instead.

I’ve already swapped a lot of my meat consumption to meat alternatives like beyond meat and impossible and so on
