I just went with something like “This comment has been edited and the original content has been removed.” I kinda figure at this point everyone knows why I’d remove my content.

I love and appreciate my Facebook friends, but it is a weird time capsule now. The people still on it are basically unchanged from who they were 10 years ago.

I get the sense that the folks on it see it as their ‘retirement social media network’, in much the same way as a stable, well-paying job in your late 40’s looks like your ‘retirement job.’

I don’t know enough about how Lemmy works to offer suggestions, but I’ll try to bone up soon and see if I can offer suggestions.

I like your idea, but also combine it with the idea behind CatsStandingUp, but each post must be the exact same image, with the exact same title. Make it as boring as possible.
To add extra spice: Everyone who posts or comments gets automatically banned by automod, as participation is working and against community ideals. I have no idea if that breaks any site rules, but it would discourage participation.
