I have moved to Lemmy.ca. This account is here simply for Legacy purposes.

Please message my lemmy.ca account if you’d like to take over any communities I mod.

Direct message

Tried it, didn’t quite work as expected.

Libertarian Socialist, though I might be a bit further left than that considering some of the ideas I have. I just find myself agreeing with Kyle Kulinski a lot since he seems to be the most agreeable and honest political commentator I know, and I’ve found other good channels through word of mouth from him.

I used to use Reddit through throwaway accounts. Was never a regular user, and moved away from it over a year ago now. Just stopped posting to socials a lot.

Mental health has gotten better, and I’ve been more active here than I ever was on Reddit because I just enjoy the vibes the place gives me overall.

I’m not a crypto person, but there is https://monero.town if you’re into that.

As if she’s not one herself? The majority of her votes in office were in conjunction with Trump’s agenda.

Reminder that Ron DeSantis oversaw some of the operations at Guantanamo.

Would probably be a good idea to place it in a museum with proper context. Doesn’t seem too large based on the photos.

Like I’m of the opinion that while having these statues out in the public eye (as in, in a park or whatever) is wrong as it sets the wrong idea for what’s considered accepted by the community, I also don’t think destroying the piece is a good idea since you lose the entire idea of what it represents, which eventually leads to people forgetting and repeating those behaviours.

Found it about a year ago after looking for social media alternatives that respect privacy and are open-source. Mainly lurked for a while, but then decided to try and get some communities active here. about two or three weeks back.

Just happened to be a coincidence everything going on with Reddit started occurring shortly after.
