I had an old Japanese truck, and when I replaced the oil pump you were supposed to pack the spaces around the gears of the new pump so it would pump oil. It was how you “primed” the oil pump.
Well I see the Reddit Defeatist Brigade has migrated to Lemmy.
The US military isn’t coming to your door, even though you’re willing to give up. We’re more worried about the local sharia law losers hiding under their big flags. And the more dangerous we can be to those people, the less likely they will start anything.
This is especially frustrating when trying to find parts for vehicles or machinery. Used to, one could search for something like “1988 Suzuki Samurai Oil Filter” and get the answer for all the common filter brands. But now all you get is links to an auto parts website, where you have to use their shitty search function and hope they have what you need.
If someone isn’t standing there with a literal smoking gun over the body they probably have no clue.
I wanted to get a Sovol S6, and I nearly did, but I decided to splurge on a Creality K1.
The K1 put out amazing prints for a week, then it started throwing an error (key:2507 not heating as expected) and I’m having to jump through the hoops with Creality tech support so I can get the parts to fix it.
I could have almost bought two Sovol S6’s instead.
