I thought he would end up at Madrid. I think a lot of people felt that Kane would not see much prestige in winning the Bundesliga (and tbf, when asked about his goals for the season he mostly talked about the CL). I remember a comment that got a lot of upvotes when Kane was announced went something like “winning the Bundesliga as your first trophy is like losing your virginity to a prostitute”.
Not entirely true. Juve’s midfield isn’t great and there isn’t much any manager could do with those options. The attack isn’t great either.
Juve would have finished in 3rd spot last season and only 2-points behind 2nd place had they not had the points deduction.
They are currently 2-points behind first place Inter this season.
With the options he has, I really think Allegri is doing well. I think if he had Pogba and Chiesa fit he would be walking this league. Inter has the best team by far imo, Inzaghi is underachieving, but I do think he will win it this season.
Potter failed to implement his tactics and philosophy at Chelsea despite working with the players every single day. What makes people think he would have the time to implement his tactics when he only gets to see his players for a week or 2 every couple of months? Teams that do well at national team level tend to go with basic football. Spain could play their intricate football because the majority of their team played together at club level too.
