KeyWe is the newest one I’ve played with my wife. It’s a game where you both play kiwis operating a relay station that has some quirks of its own.
Other games I would suggest:
- Overcooked
- Catastronauts
- Moving Out
- Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
- Helldivers
- Gauntlet
- Magicka
- Age of Wonders III (in hotseat mode)
If you like beat 'em ups:
- Streets of Rage 4
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
- Scott Pilgrim vs The World
- Mother Russia Bleeds
I’m not sure if it has split-screen or split-screen mods but check out Dinkum too.
I knew I’d like the Steam Deck from the start, but I didn’t know I’d like it as much as I do. A few weeks ago I was at a cottage and woke up early for no damn reason. Made some coffee, sat on the deck, watched the sun rise while playing Blasphemous on my Deck.
The freedom and emulation options take an already great device and turn it into one of the best purchases I’ve made since the Gamecube. Speaking of which, Custom Robo is pretty good on the Deck :)
I enjoyed Astroneer as a casual exploration game. It also played well in co-op (4 players).
Note: the Steam and Microsoft Store versions do not have crossplay unless you rent a dedicated server from one of the two official providers (which does bump it up to 8 players at least)
I have a bunch but I’ll just mention one because I didn’t see it: Mad Max. It’s just so satisfying to drive around smashing shit and kicking ass. I wish the driving sections of Arkham Knight could have been that fun.
OPs should have to post a summary of video links because I’m not watching a bait question video without a good reason.
