Haaland who is his main rival according to the media and 2 years younger than him, left Norway, played in Austria, joined Dortmund, then joined Man City and finally won a treble, finishing 2nd in the Ballon d’Or. All that in a matter of 4 years.
Haaland joined a better team and yet, looking at stats, he’s not as good overall as Mbappé. He’s slightly better in terms of shooting and goalscoring but nowhere near Mbappé in terms of passing, dribbling and playmaking.
If you wanna do this, at least look at more stats and context.
Gotta kill the good vibes around the club somehow
We’ll see where they stand in February post-AFCON.
Our defense has been better than theirs too I’ll say
That’s fine but I don’t know you can make a legit argument for it.

Better in what way?
Everybody talking about Xabi Alonso but not the architect of this team. If you’re a big club in need of a sporting director, you should go after Simon Rolfes.
Honestly, good performance by Union to snap the losing streak. I hope they can get back on track in the league. It’d suck if they got relegated.
Bayern has been such a 2nd half team this season. In most games, they look like shit only to turn it on in the 2nd half and win comfortably in the end.
Dortmund away with Laimer as a sole midfielder will be interesting.
The most hyped up meaningless award.
It’s wild to now read a bunch of “He was never that good anyway” after all the drama/hype when the transfer got confirmed this summer.
He may not be a world class player but he’s still a very good midfielder. Is it just because he didn’t live up to the insane hype he got when he was a teenager?
