I wonder whether they’ll only release an OLED Switch, or if they’ll sell the LED Switch first again.
As an enthusiast I’d be pretty pissed knowing to either wait a few years for the OLED or having to buy a second switch at some point. Reason being I can’t imagine going back to an LED after gaming on an OLED for years. My phone constantly shows me what my Steam Deck is missing.
According to Netflix documentation, they only support 720p on Linux, regardless of the browser.
Chrome officially supports 1080p on Windows and macOS, while 4k is only available through Edge on Windows and Safari on macOS.
In the past I’ve used a Firefox plugin to enable 1080p playback on Linux, but the bitrate was lower than the 1080p bitrate on Windows (with Edge, iirc).

Edit: Luckily Jellyfin does not have such annoying restrictions.
YouTube changed something about their API to break 3rd party apps again. youtube-dl is also broken, but they’ve found the issue already, so it’ll likely be fixed after a while.
GrayJay and YouTube ReVanced still work in meantime.
I’d never expected to see HDR support on Linux so soon. At the time I bought my current monitor I specifically didn’t care for HDR support since it was unlikely to work on Linux for the foreseeable future. This was before the Steam Deck was announced.
Using wev (wayland event viewer, which shows pressed keys) the side buttons show up as extra mouse buttons, so it should be possible to remap them.
button: 272 (left)
button: 273 (right)
button: 274 (middle)
button: 275 (side) <- side button
button: 276 (extra) <- side button
PS: My old Logitech G710+ keyboard has some extra buttons which show up as normal numbers, which makes them pretty much useless. A while ago I found the now abandoned sidewinderd project which adds support for them. It’s sad that those manufacturers don’t create proper standards for these kind of things and instead hack it together somehow.
I’ve switched my mum over to Evolution a few years ago, because it does some things better (message list can be configured to be less dense, which has been solved with Thunderbirds redesign). It’s a great email email, but has it’s own quirks because of how much it does, just like Thunderbird. Since I’ve used the latter for longer, I’ve no reason to switch.
