I thought it had the best “craft potion from various ingredients” minigames I’ve seen in an alchemy game in a long time. That’s basically all it tries to be, it knows it, and it works. My biggest gripe is that the UI is borderline unplayable on console. My wife would LOVE this, but she’s a console gamer from the couch 20 ft away, and it just wouldn’t work.
The linked thread has a bit more nuance. There was some concern the graphical fidelity (textures, character models) was fairly lacking. Looking at this specific screen grabs, I can see the complaints. But at this point in production (and given that these are probably edited marketing videos), I’m assuming this type of stuff can still be improved before launch.
