unrelated to your comment (sorta), but I just saw your comment update in real time after you edited it. I just thought that’s a really cool feature and wanted to point it out :)

There’s some hills near San Diego that were so littered with these poppies this spring that I thought the hills were covered in fire retardant. The WHOLE hill was solid orange.

Maybe if reddit didn’t spend millions a year delivering images and videos through i.reddit and v.reddit instead of letting the perfectly viable 3rd party platforms continue to like they had 8+ years previously they wouldn’t be bleeding money for quite literally no reason.
