What I noticed on the desktop, and this might not be Linux specific, is that sometimes the framerate just goes to crap until you reset specific graphic settings. I typically uncheck & check smooth shadows as that’s a quick one. At least they seem to fixed the general FPS degradation over long play times that was present in the beta events.
Just don’t do news about Twitter reactions. It’s nothing but outrage bait.
Collapsible comments is going to come at some point.

I’ve seen a lot of growth here, despite the ddos protection causing issue with syncing to other instances. So my migration plan will be to use kbin for all I can, especially discussions / being an active user, while using Reddit for topics that I don’t see have a good replacement yet (while checking frequently if that changes). The goal being to pull out of more and more subs on Reddit until I can just leave the entire thing behind. Maybe there will be the odd sub that will be lost / left behind, but that would be a minor price at the end of the day.
The game actually culls cars by default, and instead of parking they put their cars into their void pockets. There’s mods that can disable both of those aspects, but that would mean you’d have to do some real traffic engineering. But then again, the game just lacks proper alternatives, especially decent bike lanes or walkable / car free neighorhoods, like mixed zoning or pedestrian zones, since everything needs to be separated and tied to a proper road. Would be cool if the game itself would feature a road designer where you can add different type of lanes, trams, greenery, parking spots etc. all by yourself and use that as a template instead of the predefined road types.
That thing never worked for me. It sends me to my profile, even when I’m already there, but then it starts with an “Error retreiving CSS from /r/PowerDeleteSuite” message. When I then click on “Proceed” it just gives me this page and nothing else happens: https://i.imgur.com/jVEjfDF.png
I think Reddit’s /u/awkwardtheturtle is a prime example of why that is a good idea. It’s a toxic sexist supermod that made it in the news a few times already and never got punished for any of their comments towards other users & groups. These type of supermods also can act abusive across several communities. If they don’t like you, they can basically ban you in a lot of places.
