I used tplink omada in myb2 story, 3000 sqft house. coverage is pretty good

I did NOT go the PoE route, but did do the software controller, so that clients only see 1 ssid, and it forces clients onto the beat connection

In my simplistic view, it almost seems as though the adapters are drawing on the main WiFi even when nothing is connected to them. Could this be the case?

no

that’s a lot, but it feels like the price reflects the cost the dude would normally make that day

a single ethernet run for an electrician is usually a waste of their time tbh

Despite having a robust internet plan, I’m encountering suboptimal performance on specific devices,

maybe actual derail what’s going on? almost impossible to suggest solutions when no idea what you think is wrong

imo the answer is not only new, non-mesh wifi, but AccessPoints that have a controller, to intelligently hand off clients as they move thru the house

I went with tp-link omada stuff

reasonably priced
