If you want to backup your subscriptions you can use a dns rewrite to gain pseudo acess back lemmy.fmhy.ml → 104.21.81.71

not sure about lemmy.ml but fmhy was sorta piracy related (I only chose since it was at the top of join lemmy at the time and it had a open federation policy) and possibly instance owners didn’t want a regestrar which could seize the domain easily (although that seems to have backfired).

• lemmy.fmhy.ml accounts are automatically ported to fmhy.net
• Unfortunatley they will need to refederate meaning other instances may see duplicate communities (ones form the dead lemmy.fmhy.ml and new fmhy.net).
