I’m an Ubuntu user, I’ve never bothered to try any other distro and probably never will. in essence, I just want my apps to work.
I have spent countless hours hunting down specific debian packages that the application that I want needs. I never wanted to worry about installing dependencies and worrying that they don’t interfere with each other in the first place. I really just want my apps to work.
People have complained that snaps have so much bloat, it runs slower, blah blah blah, I don’t care. It works and I’m happy.
a lot of its quirks really do start to make sense when the whole language was essentially designed in about a weekend. a lot of my own weekend code still haunts me to this day
why does every romaboo want to fight the barbarians instead of assassinating Julius Ceasar. He’s more responsible for the fact that Rome can’t keep itself together after all his conquest.

- powers and magic beyond their comprehension
- incredibly long lifespans
- our food is irresistible once they’ve tasted it
as an avid fan of cities skylines I’m so very disappointed.
as someone who works in software… I’m eagerly waiting for next year when I do buy the game.
the games industry is a business at the end of the day and building software is a very expensive process. I understand that executives want to see returns start to come in now rather than later and if they make some customers angry then they’ve weighed the risks and decided it’s worth it.
