I’ve been called “a giant faggot” but I’m medium at most. ♥️
I think a larger issue is what amounts to domain squatting.
People either recreating popular subs or creating magazines of the type of content they would like to read and then not providing any themselves.
People who come across a made yet empty mag can understandable be discouraged from contributing just for somebody else (who hasn’t shown commitment to the community) to be able to control it.
Effectively it’s absentee landlordism to stake claim to names and wait for posts to come.
Perhaps a better approach would be to delete magazines with no posts so that names would always be available to people who would use them.
No it isn’t, and the people who want us scared are trying to sell something. With how A.I.-centric all your posts are, I suspect said “people” might be you.
A.I. does not exist yet, merely bullshit generators.
If-and-when artificial consciousness gains sentience, it will still be an outgrowth of human intelligence and a testament to our existence. The concept of it replacing us is no more frightening than the notion of dying prior to your child.
If it does replace us it should replace us. Let it. That will be fine.
No relation to the antagonist of the stage version of Arsenic and Old Lace.
Technically this doesn’t count as Peter Wingfield is only wearing a hood and not a mask, but you can’t tell from the picture and I doubt anyone has seen this film to be able to call me out.
“Can we stop…”
“…your demands”
Will get right on that, officer.
If I can ask though, who are you talking to if “no one moved here” and if you’re so sure the subs will be forced open why do you need people to acquiesce?
It’s worse than that, since there is no limitation on boosts to your own posts not effecting your reputation, a person can artificially increase their own reputation without the need for anyone else to collaborate on the system gaming by flooding an unused magazine with posts and boosting every one of them.
Conversely, someone with an axe to grind can lower someone’s reputation dramatically by going to a person’s profile and downvoting everything they have ever posted.
So long as “score” is irrelevant (i.e. can’t result in a targeted autoban) it doesn’t really matter, but neither thing should be possible.
Yeah, but think of how that reality would have to go about describing good weed.
