I assure you that Uranus has been observed many times by many people dating far back into the past, such as by Hipparchos in 2nd Century BC. They conclusively figured out exactly what it was in 1846.
As a practical result this is more of an attack on education than an attack on LGBT, who would want to be a teacher under such tyrannical rules?
Answering that question is pointless: I couldn’t give a single solitary flying fuck what a mentally deranged person thinks of any demographic unless it becomes a threat to somebody other than themselves.
The truly sad part is that acknowledging the vast majority of human beings, likely the self included, are mentally flawed to this extent does not make it any easier. It just makes you even more angry. There is no solution or fix for widespread human inadequacy.
Preface: I think it’s a genocide and I think Israeli government should be occupied and torn down. However, I understand many legislators in various countries cannot use those words.
Part of the problem with demanding certain US Senators call it a genocide is that it’s grounds for expulsion from Congress. A Genocide allows for intervention due to the 1948 Genocide Convention, so by calling it that you’re asking for an invasion of an allied nation. Which can have you removed from office.
That’s why Bernie Sanders calls it a “huge catastrophe”, “massive disaster”, “humanitarian crisis”, and indeed even “senseless slaughter” but none of that is good enough for certain right wing and centrist critics who want nothing more than to light a fire under his ass.
