I did this with the S21+ to the Pixel 7, and currently on a S23+ if that tells you anything. I’m not even a huge fan of what Samsung does, but the hardware works.

The Pixel 7 had such a great software experience when it worked, but the dropped calls and losing signal in areas where I previously had signal, was enough to get me to quit. Sadly, the rumors have the Pixel 8 using the same modem so I doubt it will be a better experience.

Yea, I’m leaving my account active but just not posting with it anymore. I only use reddit on my desktop now to view the few subreddits that have not moved to a new site/forum yet.

There’s too much useful information on reddit going away. I understand the sentiment and the act of protest, but it’s still painful to the common man.

Hm, I guess my personal theory is that by the time Deep Space Nine was airing, the viewers were already aware of the Ferengi, Cardassians, and Klingons to where they could get away with having factions and differing cultural views.

Then again, they even created a bit of a divide inside the Dominion which was completely new, so who knows. Maybe the DS9 show runners just knew how to handle it better.

I think you’re mixing these up; Lenovo bought Motorola.

EDIT: Oh, you double posted. Lol

My only experience was a Pixel 7 that was fantastic at launch, and then dreadful after a handful of updates.

I am on T-Mobile and they had to delay/cancel/unrelease OTA updates because of issues with the carrier network. I ended up having to sell the phone because it would not roam from tower to tower, it would drop signal and then latch to a new tower. You can just imagine how many dropped calls I had.

The dongle situation is easy if your phone has a built-in DAC in the USB-C port. The Galaxy S phones do, and I have had zero issues with the 4 or so DACs/adapters that I have tried. I can even use the USB-C to 0.78mm cable off Drop for my IEMs.

But if you grab a phone that does not have that built-in DAC, you will need to be sure you check compatibility before buying any.

Do new versions of Calyx release despite official firmware support being dropped?

I think the idea of reverse wireless charging is cool as hell, but only if you have wireless buds or a smartwatch to take advantage of it.

The heat, energy loss, and extra time to use wireless charging is not worth it to use full time imo. You also cannot use your device nearly as much on a wireless charger vs a long cable.

But when it’s integrated into bar tops, tables, etc., to charge your phone while at a restaurant or something, that’s extremely convenient.

It feels very situational to me.

Jerboa has been nice, besides the weird glitch where it shoots me back to the top of a post when scrolling down. Lol

Otherwise it’s pretty good for a FOSS solution!
