I’m assuming they’re going to learn a lot from Starfield and that ES6 will be pretty different from Skyrim. Going back and playing Skyrim now, it already feels like it’s dated, so they’ve got to change some stuff.

These were my thoughts as well. Ever since I’ve had a good internet connection, online only games haven’t really bothered me, but that’s a privilege many don’t have.

When I had crap internet it, I’d have to download a patch overnight and it was awful getting a surprise patch, meaning I couldn’t play til the next day.

I don’t see any reason for single player games not to have an offline mode. Especially for people who don’t have good access to internet.

I really tried to like Ni No Kuni, especially because of the Ghibli artwork, but I just bounced off it.

Didn’t see anyone else mention it, so I’ll say MMOs. Pretty much all of them. WoW, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars one (can’t remember the name). I really like the idea of MMOs, having a huge shared world that feels alive, tons of lore, epic quests, but I just find the gameplay loop so boring. They just feel like endless busywork to me.

Scariest game I’ve ever played.

All Microsoft games will be on Gamepass, so you wouldn’t have to worry about Flight Sim specifically. I did the Gold to Gamepass conversion for 3 years and have found it very worth it, but it’s hard to say at retail cost if I’d still sub.

I have liked a lot of indies lately as well, but the have been a ton of good AAA games recently, for me at least. Elden Ring, TotK, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy, God of War Ragnarok, to name a few.

PlayStation Square would be Xbox’s X, no? Could be that. Or it’s the only common button between all consoles.

I think people kind of just like laughing at how ridiculous Star Citizen is, and kind of rightly so. Over half a billion dollars and a decade in development just for what they’ve got is pretty wild.

Ya, I agree that what they have is promising. I really do hope they can finish the game as I’m really excited by the ideas they have.

People like to call the game a scam, but they’ve actually delivered something tangible. I personally don’t think I’d enjoy the game in it’s current state (and it kind of shocks me the amount of money people have put into Star Citizen), but the fundamentals seem to be there for a real game. They just have to “finish the owl,” so to speak.
