My uncle jokingly told me.that if I farted and hiccuped at the same time Iβd die. I was like 7. I fell for it. Bad. He had to call me at like 11 at night to tell me it wasnβt true and just a joke so that I could stop crying and actually go to sleep that night. All because I got the hiccups and started to feel gassyβ¦
Definitely Minecraft. Old Pokemon games as well. Just something about the grind is therapeutic
Yeah I get you. And honestly so few games these days have an actual ending anyway. Open world, sandbox, ancillary objective, and multiplayer games have changed the way we look at games in general. I canβt remember the last time I βbeatβ a game. I mean maybe a few months ago when I finished the main storyline of No Manβs Sky, but did I really beat it? No, I just finished one of the many quests.
Super Mario 64 is a game you beat. Most games today, you just donβt.
1Password said they wanna do the same thing. Itβs just so hard to believe that theyβll actually do it/be able to do it. Like can any company really be trusted?
Iβm trying! Iβm just busy. But the fediverse is awesome. Iβm sad I didnβt know about it sooner.
About 50 hours. My wife was pregnant with our daughter and things went south real quick. Ended up in emergency surgery and our daughter spending a week in NICU. My wife is still dealing with issues from the ordeal, but my daughter is 18 months old now and she is just an absolute treasure and sooo smart! Weβre so thankful to have her in our lives.
Iβm new to all of this, can you explain the difference between Lemmy and Kbin? And why would Kbin get missed over initially?
Iβve used Relay for nearly 10 years, my entire time on Reddit. Iβm sad to see things go this way and for the developer to play Redditβs game. What a disappointment. I would love love LOVE if the same app infrastructure was focused on Lemmy/The Fediverse. Itβs such a great app. What a shame to see it go this way.

I think this is a good idea; giving folks, by default, more control over what is going onto to their systems. Reduces the bloat and the ISO size is definitely useful in certain situations. Power of choice to the users!
