I’m currently playing totk on my Deck, looking forward to Diablo 4 once I get done with it. I basically use my Deck every day, it’s a great way to sit on the couch cuddled up to my wife while she plays on the Switch or such
I personally have used a self built Dactyl Manuform as my primary keyboard for the last two years or so, and it’s great as a programmer. I mostly pursued it due to wrist discomfort, which has essentially disappeared since I started using it.
@Skooshjones@vlemmy.net did a good job of explaining it in metaphor, but I just wanted to reiterate in the straightforward context of the software itself:
- Lemmy is the codebase - The actual software that’s running on the server(s). Anybody can go grab it and install it onto a server, if they know how: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy
- Beehaw is one such example, where some folks created a server and installed Lemmy on it. The same is true for any other “instance.”
- Jerboa is just an app that is used to access one or more Lemmy instances.
I’m still gerting used to the whole thing, just found the hot sort. Think I will probably go for that most often now.
