I love how the only time @return2ozma@lemmy.world gets a positive subject rating is only if its towing the line info (not that its not factual, some times with a bad title) but the other posts where they make great points or even just reporting other facts, and they downvote them into the ground.

in alot of the asus bios’ you can do that, you can set the load amounts and what CCDs you want to take those. But the only thing that its doing that you cant with this method is disabling SMT so I dont know if you get the full benefit from turning that off (I know it helped intel but I havent seen any real difference when I do it on AMD) by just only allowing workloads on the primary thread of each core and making sure you have no processes that can access the other one.

There is no doomerism here. I am saying we need to have done this 40 years ago, but sure as fuck dont be milktoast about the subjects now. Its not me and you that will be able to reign in our CO2 levels and save anything, its corps and the super rich, and with out someone standing up and going after that target we are kinda fucked.

While I am saddened by the loss of him, can I point out that its the second of the month, and using the term “he passed away earlier this month” just means the 1st. I am not sure if this was to pad out the word count or some kind of AI rewrite, I mean the pointing out that he worked for EA Sega and Star Citizen like 6 times points to the later.

In their voting reforms I would love to see them push also for election day to be a national holiday. We shouldnt have to find time, the government should assure us time to vote.
