It’s not super niche, or super on sale, but I’m really enjoying Chained Echos so far.
Yes, but no one is obligated to federate their shit, or host their shit.
What other hardware do you have installed in your system?
Can you take a screenshot of the Memory tab of Resource Manager?
It looks like the BIOS is reserving the memory for something. Reserving memory is pretty normal, but 8 GB isn’t. Have you tried resetting your bios to default settings.
I’m converting a bunch of fixed-width reports to html at work. Used it to generate a basic left-right-center header for them. Just some basic boiler plate stuff, but way easier than googling. I’m not ready to try and have it create something I can’t easily review/validate. I’m sure there’s a non-zero number of examples it was trained on saying “This is just a simple example, don’t actually do this in production”.
I hope it means knowing how to use it and knowing it’s limitations… but I doubt it was a programmer making the job description.
It’s a useful tool, but not magic. Sometimes it just makes shit up…
She’s my senator. I vote against her in the past 3 primaries… but not enough people do. I keep voting for her, not because I want her, but because the republican alternative is still somehow worse.
Also I email her office a few times a year asking her to resign and let someone take her place.
I think they mean “average life expectancy minus n years” where n is fixed at 15, or whatever. But I disagree with this too. If you work 40 years, you deserve to retire in comfort. If a billionaire needs to have one fewer boats to help cover the cost boohoo to them and their other 5 boats.
I did some work on this a decade or so ago in college. Data stays in memory a lot longer than you’d think at room temp, like minutes, not seconds. If you spray the modules down with an upside down compressed air can, you have plenty of time to remove it, and plug it into some that can dump it to persistent storage.
