Definitely Civ VI for me as well. I’m stressed out by some work obligations lately, and nothing relaxes me more than coming home and sending some giant death robots to obliterate a few cities now and again.
If you’re looking at the older ones, I’ve got a soft spot for Civ IV. The smooth dulcet tones of Leonard Nimoy reading historical quotes every few turns are always a plus.
Hiking opportunities, the proximity of mountains and sea. I would say weather, but it’s gotten a lot hotter over the past two decades…
Also, there used to be another UBC community on a different instance, but that seems to have closed.
I’m not sure what the skytrain being there in a literal sense makes as a difference
I’m only saying that proximity to the SkyTrain would seem to this layperson to reduce the need for so many spots relative to the number of units planned for the development (1612 spots for 1466 units, along with 1000+ more for businesses). Councillors are asking the same question, so I don’t think it’s out of bounds to speculate that this much parking may be a bit excessive.
But what do your engineering numbers say?
No need to be a jerk. BTW, the article says that a parking analysis for the project has not yet been completed.
If Reddit were to back down from their API gamesmanship, I’d probably stick with Infinity, as it’s a great app and easily my favorite 3P Reddit app.
I don’t expect Reddit will back down, so in all likelihood I will miss both this service and this app. Damn shame.
Most ebikes have decently water-resistant controller housings. I’d avoid a serious downpour if possible, but it probably wouldn’t be the end of the world if you get caught in one, and light rain is no problem at all.
A good reminder not to let one’s intrusive thoughts win
Be the change you want to see in the world.
(I’m partly kidding – there are a ton of communities I’d like to see carry over from Reddit to here, but I don’t bother because I don’t have bandwidth to be a mod. So I get it. But if you have time, feel free to make the communities yourself!)
