So, what are the live odds on a Melbourne super human effort to win this by a FG vs a complete implosion with at least one player on report and bellyache busting his o-ring?

I got the flowermate first because it was an upgrade from the mflb and was on sale. At the time I was reading heaps about the pax but it was around $400 where I live.

Ended up getting one on sale about a year later, and once I figured out how to use it just right, it became my daily carry. And because I usually carry multiple strains, I’ll put the half oven in there so I can vary things up during my day.

And when was the last time Melbourne touched the ball? Did they get a set between those tries?

No worries. They each have newer models out, but I have no need to upgrade from what I’ve got. Have a look at video reviews comparing each to their newer models and decide what’s best for you. You can pick up the older versions cheaper if they’ll do that job.

The mlfb isn’t bad, it was my first dry herb vape, but these are miles away a better option.

I hated the daily threads. There isn’t enough content here to start condensing them into one. People should be encouraged to create any relevant content without it being relegated to a daily footy chat thread.

That’s a tough one because I see all sides of the argument. When I was a ft pub servant, I would say bring it on. As a contractor now, I don’t get paid if I don’t work, and no one would sign off for me being paid overtime rates. However, I can afford the day off and would love one.

My brother runs a small business and he’d have been spewing if one was called, because his work doesn’t stop but now he has to pay pub hol rates to his workers which he can budget for when he knows where that will fall on an annual basis.

Some industries would benefit, hospo would have to pay more to their staff but would also likely see an uptick in business on the day, others not so much.

I’m all for what the greater good is, knowing it’s bound to piss someone off no matter what you do. So, having said that (and so as not to get splinters in my arse from riding fences), I’d say call the public holiday if they had gone thru to the end and won. People like me, and business owners in general, need to bank in unexpected events that result in not being paid for the day or that incur extra costs, and those on lower wages that have to work get the financial benefit. Give people the day off, give others that option to work it if pub hol rates is something they are entitled to.

More so right now than ever, people are spending the money they receive. That just goes back into the wider economy, so I can see why the idea was flirted with.

Growing a tail.

Backing one out.

Laying some deep sea cable.

Taking an Edgar/Bradley/Travis (Britt/Pitt/Tritt)

Snapping one off.

Pinching off a loaf.

Giving birth to a project manager.

I’m likely to do that shortly. I’m in an environment with a few toxic colleagues who know fuck all about what needs to be done, or how to do it, but manage to impact decision making and cast doubt on my abilities and deliverables to date. I have had to step outside of my role to deliver multiple big ticket tasks (e.g. I’ve been brought on to uplift code for multiple applications, but have also had to build a MEM deployment from scratch as there was no endpoint management), but no-one has the knowledge or the interest in taking over the finished products, expecting I’ll add it to my responsibilities.

A job is about to open up elsewhere that I’ve been encouraged to apply for, so I’ll keep trudging along and will let them know at my notice period. I’ve tried so hard to get involved with no luck, so now they’ll be forced to take interest.
