Might not be dumb, but I learned programming to create things and learn how things worked. Started with entering in hundreds of lines of BASIC printed in magazines, including debugging font typos.
Then learned MUF, or Multi-User Forth, a stack-based text language for creating text based dungeons, and managed to stop some malicious users spying and people’s privacy in the server.
Every so often, I pick up a new language to test it to see if it does cool stuff or help me further learn more about how things function.
Ugh. Definite mood. I had to update a database of over 200k entries, live, during prime time…

Data would look hilarious. I bet her would pick up on this obscure human tradition and attempt it.
I remember trying Keto for a while. After a year, I felt great and had good work ethics. Then COVID hit, and afterwards, I was too depressed to keep up with all the micro managing.
Now my diet includes anti anxiety and focus pills. :P
I may not have a big tip, but here’s what I’ve done when learning other languages…
I listen to people speaking and try to repeat it to myself. If I can hear it in my head, it will sound normal. So when I need to, I can remember how it sounded in my head, and decide if it will sound good in the Curr context.
I absolutely love doing this with vanilla ice cream and various sodas. The classic is, of course, A&W root beer for floats. But orange soda, cream soda, Dr. pepper and even regular Cola flavours are all so yummy!
Where I came from, we actually put vanilla soft serve inside of Slurpees, Frosters, or other soda flavoured iced drink like a slush. We called them Screamers, because of how cold they were.
Can one still enjoy the Dispicable Me series without worrying about too many Minions? I had enough with the Rayman Raving Rabies type creatures… I just wanna enjoy some goofy mad scientists.
CloudFlare has an issue with you if you’ve previously failed human checks or are using a contained browser, with or without VPN and ad blocking extensions. They check your browsing history, and what other human checks you may or may not have failed, just by you using the internet. If they can’t set a validation cookie for tracking you between other CloudFlare services, they may treat you as a bot and hang your connection.
I typically fail the “Select all the motorcycles” test because they show me scooters all the time. By doing that, my computer gets marked as suspicious, slowing down some of my connections that need to go through CloudFlare, sometimes just hanging my connection for a little time.
A serious question does arise, though. Have you tried using a regular chromium type browser to see its headers sent to CloudFlare to identify what might need to be sent?
