I want to be clear, here - at this rate, they will be going bankrupt. When that happens, they will be required to liquidate their assets, and they will be forced by the US government to sell your genetic data to pay their creditors. There is virtually no other option.

The best case scenario is that some other company buys them out, and then at least only one company still owns it all? Which is sorta good, maybe?
