A casual reminder of who runs Russia now, despite all their glamoring over their country’s Soviet heritage when it’s convenient.
Everyone stand up and yell McDonalds to end the commercials…Ready? Adblocker! 😁
Isn’t it interesting the comrade made a social democratic argument (in the benefit of anti-imperialism) and was called a MAGA supporter 🤔
Has anyone else listened to MAGA in the last year or so and thought that a parrot was in the room? Attempts at poisoning of the well is my suspicion. They have always taken orders well no matter how nonsensical they sound, it’s never stopped them before.
“If it weren’t for capitalism you wouldn’t have adderall to take!” 1 long ass word for you, liberal; Methylphenylpiracetam, a spin-off of the Soviet-made Piracetam medication which was used for a litany of aliments and for various effects that today we compare to ADHD and it’s treatment, as well as depression, anxiety, and dementia (it is a cognitive enhancer). It can also counteract Scopolomine poisoning, for those who live in South America I understand this is a problem down there.
Regardless though, I suspect this is once again the “never capitalism v capitalism and then socialism” confusion and not an argument of which system can create what.
And lastly, capitalism giveth, capitalism taketh away. Yes amphetamines were created under capitalism (specifically social democracy in Wiemar Germany IIRC), but it’s due to the failures and crisis of capitalism today as to why these medicines are not available. Social planning would ensure enough adderall for all without allowing the market or it’s beneficiaries to seep and leech resources away from human necessity.
It is becoming increasingly understood that late stage capitalism under it’s neoliberal regime has caused depression, anxiety (including alienation-induced fear of crowds), insomnia, and drug abuse in the lives of workers due to: lack of value and control the worker brings with their labor due to the advanced separation from the worker and the products of their labor, the inhuman alienation we suffer, widespread pervasive and highly toxic propaganda from the capitalist state, fear and stress from an unknown tomorrow under such an anarchistic and caustically anti-worker economic system, a compassion-less social system and culture which antagonizes the alienation and agitates such mental conditions, and far too many other conditions for me to list to be quite honest.
Personally I believe it’s likely the sudden and massive influx of ADHD cases is also due to the material conditions. The shift started in the west in the 90s after the fall of the USSR and the pillaging their of by the west, which caused a massive and sudden influx in capital and economic activity in the western proletariat, which came faster than we could properly adjust to them, causing overstimulation, motivational stagnation, hyperfixation adaptions, sleep disruptions (a thing with ADHD) and and emotional immaturity…which in turn helped craft much of the culture we have now built around multi-tasking, cartoons for adults, 14hr work days, and a litany of anxiety-based conditions.
I wouldn’t say I have any illnesses, just conditions I suffer due to the material conditions under capitalism.
Never let them forget it. The time they brilliantly thought everyone is as shitty as they are on the inside. These supposed “leaders of the civilized world”.
