Honestly good. There are plenty of used and pre-owned vehicles that just need minor repairs or tune-ups. I drive a used 2015 Chevy Spark, financed it back in 2022 and it’s nearly paid off. My car only needed a new battery, new tires, and an oil change. My mom on the other hand financed a new luxury Acura RDX back in 2018 as an upgrade from her 2006 Honda CRV, she’s still making payments to this day. I asked why she didn’t get a newer Honda CRV and she said that she didn’t want the same vehicle as a McDonald’s worker.

I drive a 2015 Chevy Spark, the gas version. The ev version was discontinued in 2016, the gas version was discontinued in 2022. The Chevy Sonic, a similar, but slightly larger model was discontinued in 2020. The Chevy Bolt, an ev and larger, but still compact model and a successor to the Spark and Sonic was discontinued this year. It’s become apparent that most Americans do not like small cars. I don’t think much can be done to make small cars likable here, I’d love to be able to drive a car like the Honda E, but there’s no market for it here.

I remember when a lady tried to scam me into an MLM at a job fair I attended several years ago.

Reddit killing off 3rd party apps. Also Lemmy feels more free as I don’t need a set amount of karma to be able to submit a post or comment. I had a lurker account on Reddit that was verified and everything, but there were times when I wanted to post and when I did only I could see my comment.

I prefer plant-based milk over dairy, it tastes better and it lasts longer. I tried plant based milk years ago and never went back. I’ve tried cashew, macadamia, rice, soy, almond, coconut, oat, and sunflower. Some of my favorites are vanilla almond, dark chocolate almond and cashew, vanilla macadamia, and vanilla coconut. My family still buys dairy milk, but we always bought plant-based butter. I buy cream cheese to use as bread spread.

Preach. I work for a small manufacturing and production company. The pay rate is $16/hr, they don’t offer health insurance, they have paid holidays, they offer 1 week paid vacation after 1 year and 2 weeks after 3 years. They’re having trouble hiring people. They’ve resorted to reaching out to former employees and asking current workers if they could reach out to friends or family.

Edit: The location is South Florida, so $16/hr isn’t much here. I live with my parents so it’s good enough for me.

I’m happy to be a part of that demographic. My upbringing only contributed to my irreligiosity.
