It’s also great for letting the kids draw on, can be scrunched up as bubblewrap alternative, and for where I live is a good fire starting material

Seems to me that making plastic straws available only to those who specifically request them on account of need is an easy fix, even if some nutters want to pretend to be disabled in order to get a plastic straw it’d be statistically negligible

Yesss! Traditional for 3D & field archery is my thing*

*actually I’m pretty new and completely rubbish, but I’ve got a lot of enthusiasm!

Saw this and replied to it from my sh.it account, but of course that wouldn’t show up here now >_<

How thick is it? I use quite heavy arrows, and I’m currently using a “normal” foam target. I’m also curious to hear how it works out in the longer term, some of my friends use cardboard but I’ve held off because they always seem to be faffing about with it

Hmmm …

I’m missing a lot of more specialised things, but these are pretty broad I think

Mmm, at 35lbs I’m putting holes in the plywood behind my 8cm foam now … I should probably chuck some cardboard back there just to make it last a bit longer

I always wiggle my fingers when pre-tentioning, but close them before aiming otherwise I drop my bow on release, lol … similarly, if my hand is at a 45 degree angle then the bow sits on my thumb which would be very painful to draw against. Weird hands, I guess!

If I reply with “Absolutely this!” I guess it would be a low effort, but I can’t honestly think of anything to add to your great reply!

Well, a Dokker doesn’t have a lot of space, so if it were me I’d go with making a sleepable flat surface, curtains for privacy, and call it a day. Use it a couple of times and then work out what you really need to take with you because everyone’s needs vary!

One tip is to pitch a tent or have a roof rack to put all your stuff in/on while you’re sleeping in the warm/ dry /cosy van.

Upvoted because archery … I kinda feel like the words “barebow” and “arrow rest” should be mutually exclusive, but language is funny like that sometimes
