Of course it’s the eating, why would they be farming so many animals so intensively if it wasn’t for demand? It’s a complete abdication of personal responsibility to say that eating meat is ok but farming it isn’t. Maybe you can argue that hunting meat is negligible in terms of impact but there’s a reason we don’t all hunt, there’s not enough of a sustainable population of any game animal that would keep the number of meat eaters we have today fed. Factory farming is a requirement for our current level of consumption.
Sadly it just didn’t work out. Such a good player for about a year from summer 2020 but injuries and inconsistency have got in his way.
I hope this means that we’ll be able to buy the kit without a sponsor, might be the first kit I buy in years if that’s the case
I think the bots are ok at the moment, it’s sort of seeding the community with some posts to discuss on. Most of the subreddits posts were article or twitter posts and it was the discussions that were interesting and unique, so as long as we don’t end up with so many bots that it diluted the conversation, we should be good
He will be able to some extent to convince his next club to dump a %age of what they ‘should’ have paid in transfer fee into his wage. If we say he’s worth 150m then over 5 years that’s 30m a year, or 600k a week, that he can try and argue should go towards his wages. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on a million a week, and I know that’s slightly down on what he’s on now, but still - outrageous money
PSG really having their chickens come home to roost here, that 2 year deal has left them in a position where the only bargaining chip they really have is to threaten to bench him. Real and Mbappe can otherwise just have a cheaper transfer/nice loyalty fee and signing bonus next season.
Annoyingly this feels like a really good signing, shores up a major area of their squad
