Exact same thing happened to me. It’s surprising how playing for a team like that really does feel a bit like wasted time for a lot of players. Not in terms of money but just general relevance.

How is there not a fixed protocol for sponsors during press conferences?

Or more likely: there is a fixed protocol, and someone being a dick decided to ignore it altogether.
