I know the show isn’t perfect, but I really enjoyed the scene between Fury and Rhodey. The line about grasping power away from mediocre men who look different and ensuring it isn’t held by mediocre men who look the same. Goddamn what a slap in the face to Fury.

And the closer: “I’m Nick Fury. Even when I’m out, I’m in.”

I loved this movie. The fact that they’re terrible people is the point, like Seinfeld or Always Sunny. It’s more of a comedy than a serious movie

I agree with Parable of the Talents. It continues the story but from a few different perspectives.

Also, I really enjoyed Wild Seed by Butler. It is chronologically the first book in the Patternist series.

If you’re looking for something by a different author with some similar themes but with a more sci-fantasy edge, then the Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. It is the first book in the Broken Earth trilogy.

Here’s a good discussion on why you should vary your news sources along with some charts to show how sources vary and specific examples given. Maybe you can find what you’re looking for in there.

Yes, if only there were some kind of systemized method of some sort for approaching scientific questions. Alas…

I’d keep it the same, but with blackjack and hookers!

"Bartender, give me the darkest BBC you’ve got. And keep 'em coming, I want a steady stream of BBC going down my throat.

Did I mention that my wife loves BBC? Go ahead and give her two, she loves to double-fist 'em."
