It’s annoying when phone is flat on the table. Otherwise, yes, they’re much better.

I’d prefer not. My phone camera makes 10mb photos. I don’t want to wait that long to send a quick photo, and storage needed to keep the conversation history can unnecessarily get out of hand.

If i want ro share full res photos, I’ll use Google photos. For sending a quick snap, smaller is fine.
