They should have shut down registrations a long time before they gained such a majority of users.

They stand behind the lie that “if we didn’t let people in, they wouldn’t know where to go”… as if it’s so hard to create a new registration page that re-routes people to other instances.

I’ll never understand the selfishness of people like that. They know they’re actively hurting all of lemmy, but they want to keep all the users to themselves. This thing only works if it’s a collection of smaller instances.

It’s odd that you’re having overheat issues. I have a Comet that doesn’t have the same problems. What cooler are you using? The only reason they should overheat is if you really have a bad cooler installed!

EDIT: just checked and the Comet has Bracer coolers installed by stock. They aren’t particularly good (they do about 260k /s). I’m not sure what other differences the Comet has vs Sabre, but overheating really shouldn’t be an issue

Hopefully we get some more interesting paints this time. Seems like a lot of effort for just a standard color paint job.

Racing needs some love. It’s nice to see them actually working on it again, but I’m not sure if they realize how much the players love to race.

They need to just give us the ability to create our own waypoints. The players will make the racing content for them!

Literally all these games have been easily downloadable via roms for decades. And they’ll all enter public domain soon enough.

Just because they aren’t available on a “modern digital storefront” doesn’t mean they’re going extinct.

just block the memes community

There’s plenty of other content to contribute too. It just takes a little bit more effort to find it now that we’re all starting fresh.

Youtube is a pretty good example of where the copywrite striking has gone absolutely bonkers. People have to strike their own videos so ensure that a strike against them won’t just take all of their ad revenue.
