Sport tourers are just the way to go unless you do a lot of track days. You can get one that does pretty much all that you want while still being very versatile and comfortable
Thats the beauty of it though. You get a bike that if its not exactly what you want its close then make a few modifications to bring it that last 10% and you still have the utility and passenger capability of a sport tourer. I actually just picked up a new Tracer 9 GT and while it has all the touring amenities it Feels like a peppy MT09 or XSR900
Ive been emulating and toying around with linux a bit mostly I plan to get TOTK on there when im done playing it on the switch
I think there needs to be a way to migrate accounts easily to another instance in this case. If im on Lemmy.world and they mess up so I want to use Beehaw or something then (it looks like?) I have to make a new account essentially (I could be wrong on that im still figuring this out)
Ive actually really wanted to do something like this as well I am just missing a few key pieces of information like how to go about aligning and sourcing a sensor and then the programming. Ive done my own keyboard and macro pad with an embedded AT32U4 and that project came out really well
I think the biggest thing that will help users is to have some sorta way that log ins are persistent across different instances
Most of Reddits alternatives from when they did crap in the past were typically flooded with extremists, racists, etc because the offshoot platforms had the goal of being an absolute free speech platform and only banning for illegal stuff. If there was a big enough influx of normal people then it would typically start to balance out. IIRC a lot of those alternatives had creators that were err…more politically motivated individuals but they typically stuck to their guns about having a completely open and free speech platform for better and for worse. I like the Federated approach to this because that basically means you can set your instance up however you want, and if the direction that instance goes is not the way others want well you can defederate from them and have your own little federation/blob of like minded instances and this goes the other way too as if you dont like what another instance is doing you can defederate from it yourself. At least thats what I understand
Stopping time for sure. If not for the very simple reason of being able to sleep as long as I want/need. Imagine essentially not having to go to bed at night (you do but you’ve stopped time during your nap)
